Correspondence courses are available at
level 2, in the following topics:

• Liquid Penetrant Testing
• Electromagnetic Testing (Eddy Current)
• Magnetic Particle Testing
• Ultrasonic Testing
• Radiographic Testing
These courses are suitable for someone wishing to go direct
to level 2. They only cover the theory of the courses. We credit
a set number of hours training for anyone successfully completing
a correspondence course. These hours can be counted towards minimum
training hours required for a PCN certificate.

The courses are ideal for anyone wanting
good theoretical training, yet cannot attend a theoretical training
course at Lavender International. You must however complete the
practical training course at Lavender International if you wish
to complete the minimum number of training hours required by
PCN. We also recommend that you complete further theoretical
training at Lavender International after the correspondence course,
to back up your knowledge.
