Lavender International have deep roots in the application of ultrasonics to non-destructive testing. Jack Lavender, the founder of the company, himself performed fundamental research into the ultrasonic testing of metals.

Ultrasonics since then has matured into a major field of non-destructive testing. Advanced Ultrasonics Techniques are currently a subject of development at Lavender International, and form a cutting edge part of Lavender International's portfolio of training solutions.
