| Around 2000 delegates supported the ECNDT Conference and Exhibition in Berlin in September. At times there were eight different lecture tracks with a wide range of attendance - the exhibition was well supported throughout. The Gala Dinner was a superb 1920s Cabaret and the evening in the Berlin Cathedral was magnificent. Lavender International had many and varied visitors to their Stand and both Tim Armitt and Steve Lavender did presentations. Tim’s first paper was entitled ‘Phased Arrays – not the answer to every application’ and his second was ‘The application of Ultrasonic Phased Arrays to inspect complex geometry nozzle welds’. Both papers were very well attended. Steve’s paper was entitled ‘Training and Certification Programmes for Advanced Ultrasonic Methods’ and was also well attended. The next European Conference will be in Moscow in 2010. |
